History is interesting and we can learn from it but I prefer to live in the present and study the present doctrines to understand what people believe and why they believe it. Present doctrines are not any different to those in history since history repeats itself and the doctrines are handed down from generation to generation anyway. They are just wrapped in different colored paper and embellished a bit, to make them look different on outward appearances.

Thanks for the discourse on my blogs.
One needs to study other civilizations and
history to undertand the doctrines that
were developed.

No, not in any depth as in studying the books which are written on those subjects. I do however have a general idea of what people are talking about when they mention them.

I have mainly studied the bible in depth and the various different christian religions and their doctrines. It is very obvious to me where they are wrong and why the doctrines are false but very few people want to listen to anyone who tells them they are being led astray by false doctrines. Most like to think they are right and everyone else is wrong but that is human nature and I know I am right. :-)

Gnostic philosophy?

I don't remember you as being one of my invited Contacts....and I refuse your sponge full of vinegar as surely as Christ refused His.
When you invited Jesus into your life, you also invited me. I am ONE with Him. Whatever you do and say to me you also do and say it to Him.

What you perceive as a sponge full of vinegar is the vinegar which YOU feed to Jesus daily so He will feed it back to you for you reap what you sow.
You feed the Lord vinegar every day when you preach false doctrines and make false accusations toward Him and deny His Truth. Shame on you.

However, I forgive you because you have no clue what you are saying or doing.

You can refuse to take Gods medicine if you wish but you won't get better till you do accept it. His medicine is the TRUTH which tends to taste like vinegar to the deluded fools who prefer their false doctrines to the Truth.

If the Lord is bringing you through suffering then be glad and rejoice in the fact that you are getting to know Him and the fellowship of His sufferings.
You have no clue what that is like till those who call themselves Christians and followers of Christ, hate you, reject and despise you, bann you and block you from their sites and lives.

Just know that I will never ban or block you no matter what you think of me or say to me and you are free to post whatever you want on my site and I will not delete it as long as it is something of substance and from your heart.

There is no peace to the wicked. Those who abide in the Truth abide in perfect peace regardless of what anyone says to them or does to them.
Your words are like water off a ducks back.

You can keep following your false Christ as long as you like but be aware that wide road leads to destruction.
The WAY of LIFE in TRUTH is very narrow and FEW there be who find it.

I have great peace and nothing offends me.
If you get offended by anyone or anything then you don't have the peace of God and don't love the Law of God.

Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
